The impact of language on the female body

The document presents an analysis of the use of language and its impact on women’s lives from its implementation in the social and cultural context of our country, in relation to their body, the influence of the market and aspects related to patriarchy. It is a narrative biographical article, Bolívar, et al. 2001 points out that this approach allows to give meaning, understand and interpret facts and actions, cognitive, affective and action aspects, this from the experience and experience of the subject.
This outlines the use of language and the impact it generates by being used to disqualify and stereotype the female body, which has been the target of multiple offenses, guilt and sins that are translated and interpreted from language. The text shows the heterogeneity of the use of the meaning of language, which is loaded with symbolic aspects that have an impact on different aspects of our lives, in a consumer society, femicides, search for identity, etc., which has led to inequality towards women. And this in turn is also impregnated with certain stereotypes, erroneous beliefs, diverse images that impact the conception of the female image and the recognition of women based on their “femininity”.
The need arises to rethink the use of language and the meaning we give to it, that is, it must be transformed and deconstructed, just like the image of the woman’s body.
