Abstract

The emergency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and declared in December 2019, disrupted the lives of all humanity; Its effects have also been multiple in various sectors of Mexico, such as education, predominantly in face-to-face education; the challenge of move towards a distance education model, has been enormous, even with the advances made by distance education. The health emergency forced all the actors involved in the teaching-learning process to show an adaptive capacity, which has materialized in the modification of contents, the hierarchization of learning objectives, the design of innovative didactic strategies and, incorporation of new tools and technological instruments for the development and evaluation of activities; above all, in the design of teaching methodologies by teachers. The result was the creation of various Emergency Remote Teaching strategies, the effectiveness of which will have to be evaluated in the near future. To contribute to this, the objective of this work is to document the academic experience in the Architecture career of the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragón, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, during the 2021-1 semester.
